I have started my IT journey since childhood with a Commodore-64 that brought me the opportunity to understand basic Hardware, Software, IO, and QBasic programming. Just before turning 17, I had an income by providing computer services to small businesses and individuals (Software, Training, PC Hardware, and re-selling internet subscription).

My very professional IT carrier started in 2006 when I joined a local branch of a Service Provider, active in providing specialized connectivity services to banks.

Now, I am IT Service Management / Delivery expert with Production Operations background - strong history on Banking Messaging Systems and operational environments, Financial Networks and Systems Specialist, SWIFT Technical Expert, a strong IT Team Leader, Experienced in Implementing IT solutions in test and production environments, as well as providing support and implementation services to the customer on mission-critical services. With a strong background in Financial Messaging SWIFT (Network, Systems, Products, and Services). Specialist in SWIFT Service Bureau (Management, SIP, CSP, Design, Implementation, Support, Maintenance). Well-practiced IT Management (Leadership, IT Service Management), as well as Consultancy, with a long experience in Training, Coaching, and Mentoring team members.

A specialist in SWIFT Interfaces and connectivity products such as SWIFT Alliance family (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, Alliance WebPlatform) and similar from other vendors.

Bypassed SWIFT certification for Service Bureau track with good results. ITILv4 Foundation certification undergoing.

In my work, regardless of the position and main assigned function, my analytical mind works more than my show-off mouth! I am result-oriented, customer-centric, and slightly perfectionist. My areas of interest are ITSM, Service Delivery, Leadership, Customer Experience, Processes, Procedures, Knowledge Management, and Operations.

I believe people are the main asset of every company and knowledge is the most important non-tangible asset.

Living in the beautiful Falnders (Belgium), with the great access to the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Germany, and UK, I enjoy nice scenes, medieval architecture, culture, people, and of course good wine and beer!

At home, together with the family, we do great works. We had to fully renovate a house and we learnt (and spent) a lot!

I have the potential of being work-alcoholic. After I moved to Belgium, I learned how to make a good balance between work and life. Never want to go back to old days.
